Over the next several years, my post-meal runny nose became a nuisance and I decided to see an ENT about it. He diagnosed it as gustatory rhinitis, a known symptom with a known diagnosis. I was prescribed ipratropium and that worked fairly well if I gave it enough time for it to work. However, one wonders given all my strange syptoms whether there is any connection. 
Many years later, the condition morphed into vasomotor rhinitis and started to occur at random times. Ipratropium has also lost some effectiveness.
