At some point around this time, I don’t remember the exact date, I felt this squeezing around the PEG site and upon observing it, it was clear that the stomach was violently contracting pulling the PEG in as far as it would go. I call this novel and weird symptom, PEG pulling. The PEG is pulled so hard that I suspect the inner side was touching against the left kidney. We replace the PEG every 6 months and each time, I would get a longer one in hopes I could reduce the impact of the pull. But even at 5 cm, it didn’t make a difference. The stomach was able to contract and fully pull the PEG in.
